Got this 2pack cause it was a few dollars cheaper than another brand on here for 2 separate sets of rods. The color is more of a silvery colored brass. You can almost see where it’s been sprayed over with a silvery brass-like finish. The balls on the end don’t feel like metal at all, however where the ball screws in, is. There’s also a black connector that connects the rods together that’s usually tucked under the the other rod, but this one is stationary so you have a black connector right in the middle of the two rods which I also don’t like. I had a gold paint pen I used to color it in cause it was really taking away from the look. I kept them because I was desperately needing curtains for privacy and couldn’t be bothered with returning and waiting another 3 days for delivery. There are better options out there. When I looked closer at the ones I was gonna buy that look similar, I could see the quality is so much better. Spend the extra $3 and order another set of rodsI initially ordered a size smaller, which fit, but it was at the rods outer limits and make them dip a little in the middle. I sized up and have them almost as small as they go and they’re perfect. They feel very sturdy and not cheap and plasticy like a lot of curtain rods. I highly recommend themA picture is worth a thousand words.It looks even better in person than the pictures.I have them on the shortest setting so I can’t comment on sturdiness of them extra long, but I would assume they would be just as sturdy because it comes with a middle wall brace in addition to the two end ones.Easy install, slightly flimsy and currently rusting. Brought this rod last summer will most likely replace next summer for sure. Alright for now.These curtain rods are the real deal. They look and play the part of high end luxury curtain rods. I have purchased 3 more sets of these to install in various rooms in my home. A+Love these curtain rods. Great quality for the price. Definitely a good deal.
