When I moved here, the previous owner left a shower rod and it kept falling down.This was very aggravating, in the middle of showing the rod and curtain falling down! sometimes even before getting into the shower it would just fall down!I threw it out and started taking baths only. This was hard because I like mostly showing. I thought about drill into the tiles to hand the kind that screws into the wall. I wanted to find a shower rod, one from a store but they didn’t look like they were the right size so I had to stick to my baths. In the meantime, I saw another item to use to sit the rod on top of, but when it came, no success because it had nothing to sit on. I eventually found this item on Amazon and crossed my fingers. When it arrived and I hung it up, I was so grateful that it worked like it said it would! I am happy to say it has been up for months now and has not fallen down even when I pulled on it to test it.To the maker of this product, thank you for a shower curtain rod that works and doesn’t fall down. Some may say, its only a shower curtain rod! But I say it’s one that never falls down!! When we moved into this house the rod that was left would not stick to the tile. This rod was really easy to adjust and put up. I will definitely buy another one for my guest bathroom. I highly recommend this product!The finish looks great (we’ll see in a couple years, in a tropical environment). I bought it because it has the big foot, so it has a stable grip on the wall. I was hoping it would be bigger (that’s what she said), around 2.5 inches in diameter, but it’s definitely less than that. But it’s still a vast improvement over the usual poles that just have a rubber end-cap and don’t hold very well.Bought for sons bathroom that gets a great deal of moisture. Wanted an item that was durable and rust resistant.It comes assembled. Very easy to install and looks great. The Amazon box was too big for the little box that the rod was in. But that is an Amazon thing. Nothing to do with this item.We really like this new shower curtain rod. It is much sturdier than other rods we have had. It seems as if it will last for a long time.Replaced two old shower rods, one for the curtain and the second to hang wet items. The quality of the rods is a major improvement.Just cheap and unsteady, can’t place too much pressure on the pole. It falls off easily you have to be really careful not to pull on it. I set It up and it fell at least a half a dozen times. Cheap and hollow, not worth the purchase and it isn’t solid. Amazon is selling some really cheap products very disappointing really!Product was alright but is annoying. Where it turns like a screw to extend it slowly over time falls out of the door way as it retracts on its own due to cheap components. Needs a locking mechanism. Would not buy this again.I’ve tried so many times to get this thing to stay up. Every time I put it up it falls down after a few days, and it’s always a few inches shorter than when I put it up. I can only think something inside isn’t holding the spring out to where it needs to be.Bought a heavy-duty shower curtain from Amazon a while back and wasn’t sure if this rod would hold it up due to the mixed reviews. It hasn’t budged since installing it and seems to withstand the weight of the curtain just fine!
