exactly what I wanted: looks classy, easily mounted, sturdy. I was hanging heavy insulated curtains, so I took other's advice and got the longer 48-86 inch rod even though the smaller size would have been long enough, and I was very glad I did, since I think it would have bent in the middle if it was extended. I wouldn't recommend the smaller size even for lightweight curtains, but I bought two of these size (just three dollars more than the smaller ones) and am very happy with my purchase.Tip for mounting: The bracket has two screws and the top screw is a little hard to access using an electric drill because it's blocked by the rod hook. This means you have to hold the drill at an angle, which will easily strip the cheap screws. But here's a tip: drill the top screw in first while holding the bracket turned *sideways*, and then right before the top screw is all the way in turn the bracket right-side up, drill the last bit of the top screw in place, and only then drill the bottom screw. That worked for me easily and I was able to mount them in just a few minutes. I also didn't bother with the drywall anchors (no hammer) but I may regret that in the future (or my landlord will). They've been up for almost two months now though and no signs of sagging. Just don't do what I did first and mount the bracket upside down....
