Super cute curtains and they do block some light but I have a blackout set of curtains behind them. I would buy them again.No matter what the name says, there are categorically not blackout curtains. The sun shines right through them and my night creature brother is already complaining that I replaced my previous real blackout curtains for these. I've got no problem with light coming through them, but people shouldn't be lied to about what they're getting.They're an undeniably gorgeous set of curtains, though. I'm very happy with them even though I have to hear my brother's whining.These curtains are very nice and thick. I measured my son’s window before purchasing to make sure I was ordering the right size curtains. The curtains match his comforter that I recently purchased. My only complaint is the shipping timing and the lack of tracking updates. The tracking info via Amazon was not correct; however, when I reached out to the seller, they were able to provide accurate tracking details from their end. Very helpful. Keep in mind that this item is being shipped from China. Great purchase though. My son loves it!The vibrancy to the fabric is NOT there at all and its very thin so light comes through easily. These are not close to black out at all. These will need to be paired with a second set to make them block out light. The grommets are also plastic and kind of cheap looking. So overall, not great qualityFor being black they are a little too see through. But they are cute, and still work fine. Wish they were a little bit softer.My daughter wanted a anime themed room and these gorgeous cherry blossom ? curtains were just the thing. They are beautifully made and anyone who see them in person wants them.The picture is printed very light and not even close to “dark out”. Nice weight and could’ve been nice image.This product sucks, it’s not thermal, it doesn’t glitter it’s a thin blanket with curtain holes don’t buy serious disappointment. Thank you for disappointing a 4yr old girl
